    Any thoughts?

Frankly, I'm getting a bit tired of biopics.

What, one Oscar wasn't enough for her?

Aretha deserves a biopic and a thick Oscar-winning actress to play her.

This may be a bit ignorant of me to say since I haven't seen Dreamgirls, but how much talent does it take to play a black female singer when you ARE a black female singer? Now she's up for this roll where she'd play...you guessed it...

              This makes me very excited.

Yes, I'm tired of biopics. And Hudson (who gave an awful Oscar acceptance speech) is aggravating me as of late.

BUT I love Aretha Franklin and would enjoy viewing her story and her iconic music on screen. Not too many people could pull her off -- she's so distinctive -- but I totally think Jennifer could do it.

She has enough power and sass to pull Aretha off as a personality.

I think this would be a great follow up for Jennifer.

Kate Hudson (I) (Actress, Almost Famous (2000))
                birth name "Kate Garry Hudson"
                Jennifer Hudson
                (I) (Self, "American Idol: The Search for a Superstar" (2002))
                birth name "Jennifer Kate Hudson"
I'm just glad she didn't go with 'Kate', because then the hot Kate would have to change her name to Garry, and that would be very hard for me to deal with.

Interesting CPR article. Don't do mouth-to-mouth, just compressions.

Jennifer who what? Oh, Hudson. Mmm.

She's well on her way to typecasting herself. At least there's a lot of singers out there.
