          I dunno. I consider "Deliberately paced" to be a euphemism for "Slow."
          Yeah, it's definitely used that way sometimes.

          I figured, for the purposes of this thread, "deliberately paced" kind of meant "slow and meticulous, but not boring" (since we're talking about our favorites).

          Another favorite of mine that I think fits this definition of deliberately paced -- although people don't usually think of it this way because it's pretty continuously scaring the crap out of them even as it plods steadily along -- is Alien.

          Aliens, on the other hand, is the opposite of deliberately paced. But it's great, too.
