  • "Fight Club", High School-Style

Does this plot basically sound like "Fight Club" put in a high school scenario? It's difficult to find much in the way of any originality in the premise.

Wasn't there also a Bollywood version of Fight Club coming out?

Too soon to tell. I doubt it's about anti-consumerism.

Why would someone want to copy FIGHT CLUB, a film that made so little money that they fired the studio's head of production (Bill Mechanic)? When the head of the studio gets axed because of one film, that's probably not the film you should be copying.

        Sure, it's a cult film - but that's a limited audience.

If this movie is designed as a direct to video, then it makes complete sense - that's where the audience was for FIGHT CLUB.

Bollywood? Will it be a musical? Will Mike Tyson star?

I seriously doubt that Palahniuk invented the concept, he just popularized it. And on a meta-level it still works, in that he popularized the concept (well, at least the film version did) and it goes to follow that a high school would have a variation.
