The fascination with gangster movies comes from seeing a side of life that most of us will never see during our quaint existence; City of God being a perfect example.

This one feels a bit too glamorous for its own good with the only real attraction for me being the heavyweight talents of Denzel and Crowe (whom I suspect is a real-life sociopath). Personally, I wish Ridley Scott would make another sci-fi movie SOON, since he's in his 70s now.

They've been developing this one for a long time. Looks like they did a good job with it. I'll be there. I too would have liked to see Don Cheadle, but love Denzel so should be good.

I don't know, it looks like every other gangster film out there--but with Denzel. I'll see it, I'll see him in anything, but I'm a bit skeptical that they've done anything fresh here.

Personally, I wish Ridley Scott would make another sci-fi movie SOON, since he's in his 70s now.

Since "Alien" was a horror/sci-fi film, I personally hope to see him venture into either genre again sooner than later.
