Good Qualities in Bad Movies

What are some films from the past and present that you can think of that, while being overall varying levels of horrendous, actually do possess one or two (perhaps even three) solid qualities that may elevate it a bit higher above the rest of the cream-of-the-crap?


One that always comes to mind here is "Lost Souls". While being a more than mediocre and often painfully-cheesy horror film, it does however have stunning cinematography and a quite beautiful score.

Almost any movie has at least some redeeming qualities.

I liked the score and effects for the House of Wax remake.

While I thought Lady in the Water was a great movie, many didn't like it, but it is worth watching for the amazing cinematography and score alone.

was ridiculous and creepy and horrible and had a ridiculous pastel subterrantean hell pitchfork stabbing scene but made a major impression on me. I think it was the tone and scenery and the whacko lead character guy spewing weird ideas. Not a very articiulate analysis. But rent it. It's weird as heck. I totally recommend it.
