    Kel, that explains why I thought the set-up re the overhead conversation was so weak, because having worked for a similar organisation, to me the inciting incident wasn't convincing at all. But it makes sense that in the original, this was a lie by Kidman's character. Strange that in the original she was behind the plot, because that was the ending I was half expecting.

    Re Kidman's nose. She's always had that strange bump. More credit that she has not had a nose job.

      hollywood used to make good hollywood movies. what happened?
      not even sean penn can save it [though he's not helped by the putrid dialogue].
      why does his character have to be grieving? really? it rings false and adds nothing.
