  • Neil Marshall's: Doomsday

Doomsday takes place three decades after a lethal virus called the Reaper nearly wipes out Scotland and causes the rest of the world to wall off the entire country. When the Reaper begins to emerge in other parts of the world, an elite team of crack soldiers are sent into the contaminated landscape to seek out the one man who may have the cure.

Neil Marshall said in a recent interview with dreadcentral.com, that this film will be Mad Max meets Escape From New York, meets The Warriors.

Yeah, sounds like a good laugh, put my name on a ticket.

Tho' the movie pics don't look unusual to me, I peer through my bunker periscope and see pretty much the same thing every day.

Yeah, I can believe Rhona Mitra could lead a crack team to save the human race.

Heh I forgot -- you're Scottish. This would be a right laugh (or is it laff?) for you.

Well, I don't think "Doomsday" is supposed to be that funny of a film but to each their own.
