    It's tougher now than it's ever been .. at least that's how it seems.

    One of the problems is that the industry has allowed the pretty faces to outnumber those faces with talent. In the 70s you had Fonda, Babs, Ullman, Dunaway, Mason, Redgrave, Fields, Jackson, Alexander, Streep, Burstyn, McClaine, Denevue, Rampling, Bisett, Keaton -- talented actresses that Hollywood put on the forefront. The only big name without more to offer than her bod was Raquel Welch really. Sure you had the smut back then, but still. It's different now. It's a Hollywood that's much more sexist, and a country that's much more sex starved..

    And the fact that there are so many starlets out here only hungry for fame does not help matters. My 2 cents.
