The pic tells a metaphysical story about a 70-year-old Romanian professor of linguistics haunted by dreams of a lost love who miraculously becomes younger after being struck by lightning. The accident gives him abnormal intellectual abilities which attract the attention of pre-World War II Nazis and turns him into a fugitive.

Jesus Christ, I couldn't even pronounce some of those words, let alone know what they mean.

I haven't actually, though I know who the author is by reputation. Not my cup of tea, I'm afraid. A little too mystical for me.

Okay, I'm confused. Who gets hit by lightning, the professor or the lost love?

Is the professor a woman, in love with a man who gets hit by lightning?
Or is the professor a man in love with a man who gets hit by lightning?
Or is the professor a man who gets hit by lightning in love with a woman?
Maybe the professor is a man who gets hit by lightning in love with a man.
