Natalie Portman as Wonder Woman? I thought she could be cast to read the phone book and pull it off... but finally, I hear a role that strains the realm of credibility.

If that was the case, wouldn't they have cast Natalie Portman?

    *runs like hell*

Exactly - the only reason she got cast was to satisfy the dateless geek target market.

Uh...I do (not that I'm really interested in the fate of "Justice League" either way).

A 21-year-old Batman seems like a hard sell. Even if the actor playing him is 6'5".

And speaking of height, Megan Gale may have next-to-no acting experience, and she may be more famous for getting nekkid than for anything else, but at least she's tall. I can't tell you how disturbing it was to hear the names of Munchkins like Sarah Michelle Gellar thrown around. Yeah, that was mostly fan talk when Joss Whedon was still on the project, but still. Wonder Woman's a freakin' Amazon, for cripe's sake. That should at least rule out any actress not taller than me. (I'm 5'6", and I have never, ever, been mistaken for an Amazon.) Plus she's not built like a praying mantis; she can actually fill out the costume. So I'm tentatively remaining hopeful that she will not suck. Though I naturally reserve the right to withdraw my optimism at any moment without notice and turn on her like a rabid dog. 'Cause I'm like that.

Apparently, both the caped crusader and the star-spangled-bosom have been cast for "Justice League" and it sounds...well, read for yourself here and here.
