Stop! Or My Mom Will Reload!

Sorry, Sly. Just busting your chops.

Felicitations, malefactors! I am endeavoring to misappropriate the formulary for the preparation of saleable screenplays. WHO WILL JOIN ME!

Seriously folks, the real picture is that those 'roids he's taking are making him feel like 30 again. I hope he doesn't do irreparable damage to himself because I like the guy.

I think his son, Sage, is going to be a big player in the film industry. His short film 'Vic' is brilliant.

Here's an interesting interview Sage did with Martin Grove of the Hollywood Reporter:

I may have mentioned this before, but he's been coming out to Australia for years now. First time was with Bruce Willis and Arnie when they launched Planet Hollywood in Sydney - ever since then, Sly's been a regular celeb.

But last time, he was out to promote Rocky and was busted with a heap of steroids - which by Australian laws are illegal. He admitted he was taking them for a new Rambo movie. Anyway, to cut a long story short he had to appear in court and pay a huge fine. The whole time though, I kind of felt sorry for him, because he had no idea they were illegal (rightly so), and he seems like a really nice guy.

Got to admire him, he's really trying to push his action star icon to the limit, despite his age.

Who knows, he might succeed? I hope he does.

He came to England last summer, travelled up to Liverpool and went to an Premier League soccer match at Everton FC's Goodison ground and he was presented with a team shirt with his name on the back of the shirt He was also given a team scarf.. He came onto the pitch before the match and the 45,000 strong crowd went apesh!t I only live 16 miles from the gorund but didn't go to the match. I watched it on TV.. What a guy.. He's a buddy of the Chairman of Everton FC, Bill Kenwright who's a movie and theater producer so they know each other pretty well I guess..

Was great to see him at the match.. He's now an Everton supporter - yay!!

Bit of a News Item that day on all the National TV News!!!

I remember seeing that on Sky News. True, the crowd did go ape****.

He's a popular 80's icon, what's not to like? Plus, the guy started out by doing a few porno's. What a legend!

I just wish he didn't lie about it, though.

Didn't know it was illegal? What a joke. He knew.

It was HGH. To quote the FDA 'whoever knowingly distributes or possesses with intent to distribute human growth hormone for any use in humans other than the treatment of a disease or other recognized medical condition where such use has been authorized by the Secretary of Health and Human Services under Section 505, is guilty of an offense punishable by not more than five years in prison."

That's the US rules. His use of it is illegal in the USA, as well. He knew it. He was just lying.

In later press conferences, he also argued that it is harmless, so should be allowed. Which may be true, but is admitting that he KNEW it was illegal at the time, both in the USA and Australia.
