    That looks pretty awful.

Brendan Fraser's "dramatic shout" voice certainly doesn't help.

Well, then... I always wondered what on-the-nose dialogue written by Jimmy Durante would sound like.

Yuck. That looks like an abomination of a great story.

He shouted about 80% of his lines in that. Bleh.

JOURNEY 3D looks like the usual updated Hollywood re-imagining of a classic science fiction novel, (which tries to lure an audience in with a famous author's name, then offers loud music and a special effects extravaganza, with faint resemblance to the original story). Too bad this new 3D film is most likely to be watched in its 2D format, as it appears scenes were written to emphasize 3D effects. Why not stay faithful to the original story? 'Cause no female lead in the original story? After the hype produced for the theatrical run and initial DVD release, I expect that this will soon vanish from view, as did Spielberg's WAR OF THE WORLDS and Simon Wells' THE TIME MACHINE.

At 144 frames per second, anyone know how this can be viewed in 3D, (a main selling point), with any home entertainment system, (or with a computer's video card)?
