Re: Changeling Trailer
The importance of a director is debatable with-in studio films. Ultimately associated with quality control on set. So tacking a Oscar-name on a film is all about money.
Fun Fact: Altman, Kubrick & Hitchcock never won oscars for directing.
(Eastwood has three)

"This is definitely Oscar material, for Jolie and Eastwood as well as writer J. Michael Straczynski" -Alex Billington(firstshowing.net)
That's hilarious.
Here's an Oscar-Malkovich as a father that loses his child.
This looks to be revamped crap.

Re: Changeling Trailer
To this day? That is horrifying.
I liked MISTY a lot, too. MYSTIC was very well done also.

Re: Changeling Trailer
I think Mystic River needs a mention. And then we need to pretend like he had nothing to do with Blood Work. His jumping out of the path of the car still haunts my nightmares to this day.

Re: Changeling Trailer
Eastwood does a great job with Directing, so I'll be seeing this.
The one thing that I would try to improve on, is the pace from the original.

Re: Changeling Trailer
The script was amazing so I don't think Eastwood will mess this up. However, just from the trailer it looked like Angelina Jolie was hamming it up a bit.

Changeling is directed by the legendary Clint Eastwood, of Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby, Flags of Our Fathers, and Letters from Iwo Jima most recently. The script was penned by comic book writer J. Michael Straczynski, who has written numerous scripts from episodes of "Jeremiah" and "Babylon 5." Universal is releasing Changeling in theaters starting on October 24th this fall.
