I remember enjoying Shiri, but I can barely remember anything else about it. JSA, on the other hand, I found much more memorable, I think in large part because of the interesting emotional bonding among the soldiers.

I liked Shiri because Yunjin Kim played several different roles in the film. Now, I heard JSA is a good film, but after serving three military tours on the DMZ, I lost interest in the JSA theme.

Death Bell (2008) is Saw set in a high school!

Not great, but one of the better recent Korean horrors.

Have to say that The Chaser blew me away. Great movie. Highly recommend it. Very strong character arc. Best crime thriller I've seen in years.

"The Chaser" is excellent (it's available on Comcast on demand), as is "Memories of Murder" (available for free on Comcast). I also just watched "Epitaph", which I thought was stylistically about as good as it gets.
