Charles Rain is a convicted hijacker who the Justice department is transporting for trial... On a commercial jet no less... And Rain's team hijack the plane in order to free him. Wesley Snipes is an airline security agent who is "in the wrong place at the wrong time" as were most Die Hard era action movies of the '90s.

That sounds somewhat familiar. I remember the bad guy escaping in the beginning, but don't recall him being captured, and I don't recall Snipes being given the task of getting the bad guy from A to B.

It's a pretty decent film, though. Might have to watch it again, despite the fact that it carries the 90's on it's shoulder like a badge.
