I always thought Justin Long would make a very good Gilligan.

I think Steve Martin is a good pick as Mr Howell though.

I love Steve Carell but I don't think he fits the Professor's part well. The Professor was always kinda a serious guy and was never really funny. If Carell got that part he would most definitely make it funny and it would then not be The Professor.

I can agree with the rest of your list although I'm sorta sick of Michael Cera.

Maryann - I'm thinking someone like Rachael McCadams/Kristen Bell.
