I choked up at that bit. Enjoyed this, it's always good to hear from people in the biz.

You better be paying for that porn like a good morally upstanding person.

I like the part in the clip where Steve Susco says something about The Grudge being his first film made, but it was his 25th script.

Yeah. That's iron being transformed to steel right there. He had a burning desire that never went out and that is what's required.

Odds are I'd still download it.

I've been on the other side of the fence before. My band lost a record deal and an overseas tour thanks to piracy.

If personally losing your career to piracy isn't enough to convince you, I'm not sure anything I say will.

And Lee, I agree it's technologically a complex issue - are you saying it's morally a complex issue as well?

Watched it last night*. Nice little "doco". I just hope that I can have half of those problems.

Saw it a couple of hours ago at the Areo Cinema, with panel Q&A afterwards. Funny and frightening... made for us. I know a bunch of the people interviewed, as well as Peter the writer/director.

If you are a screenwriter - you need to see it.

PS: after the movie they raffled off a DVD. It was a fairly full cinema... full box of raffle entries... and they called my number. What are the odds?

I got my copy this morning. Wondering what the hell 'Mcgooch' was all about?

I googled it and there was a McGooch bib in the screenwriting bib page, but can't find any decent info.

If anyone has a copy of the McGooch screenplay, drop me a line.

                            Just finished watching this.

                            Good stuff.

Nothing revelatory, but good reinforcement for the lessons we're all learning. Also cool to put faces with all the A list names.

It's hard to believe she's a lesbian. Anyway, she looks so good in Preaching to the Perverted. Fun movie.
