Directed by the guy who did the Moscow car chase for Bourne Supremacy.

Bourne films suck. They're the most over-rated insult on intelligence in the past decade.

The hand-to-hand fight scenes were fresh though, hence the series succeeded.

Now we all know why you call yourself Ugly.

I'm sorry, but am I alone in thinking that the mere concept of someone suffering amnesia yet conveniently remembering a f*cking bank code is utterly preposterous?
Does anyone here actually know sh*t about amnesia?

Here's an idea: go and watch Regarding Henry and you'll see the best - most realistic - use of amnesia in cinema history!
People like you, Ugly, should learn how to research and know your role.

On another note (and because Bourne's so full of holes I can list several but will merely stick to the MASSIVE logic issue at the closure of the third installment): how is it possible that this intelligence agency can pin-point mobile telephones globally, discover who had theirs switched off a certain time, read the text messages sent to another agent's mobile yet then fail to locate the disposable credit phone used to send the said text messages?

But back on topic, I've nothing more to say; I didn't like anything about Ronin when my mate suckered me into paying to watch it with him at the pictures, and my memories of that tedious car chase were brought about by this thread.
Some of you enjoyed it - fair enough.

Hell, the 70's film The Driver featured so, so much more.

EDIT: Because it's the internet I don't care about and refuse to fix typoes.

There are many types of amnesia. Selective amnesia, for example.

I chose to partially quote you b/c I feel it better sums up your post.

And there's plenty information about amnesia available on the internet.

A comment made merely to nullify any future attacks.

              And "selective amnesia"? Whatever.

I agree. The original bourne novels (at least the first two) were about tradecraft not about evading technology. Why didn't they just shoot it as it was written in period? I thought the Richard Chamberlain version was much better than anything Damon's done. Then again he can't act to save his life. Not to mention the absolute abortion that was the camera work. Seriously, why would a scene need a shaky close up of someone sipping coffee in a meeting? Seriously? If you can't write a tense scene or you can't manage to coax good acting from your actors to create tension then just quit directing and go film shaky handheld home vids of your kid hitting someone in the nuts with a whiffleball bat to submit to AFHV for god's sake. Terrible. And it's even worse because Ludlum was one of my favorite writers for years as a kid.
