Watched Animal Collective's visual album/ movie "ODDSAC," it completely psychadelic, and I have absolutely no idea how this was done, maybe in After Effects?

Anyonehave a clue how this heavy psychaedilia was pulled off? (warning, it's easier to watch when you're high off your ass).
