Watched this on Netflix Instant yesterday. Really enjoyed it (and learned from it). Great white-trash southern milieu, interesting characters, bizarre psychodrama, nice music, very nice cinematography, very good acting.
This is one of those films that you're tempted to bail on in the first 10 minutes (I nearly did), but don't. Hang in there. It gets better and better.
And woah, that Dominique Swain---good Lord
I hadn't seen her work before this, but will look her up special now. Wow.
Highly recommended.
