    I remember reading this script about a year ago and loving it. Now the trailer has finally released, and Jesus Christ! It's just as i imagined in my head as i was reading!

      movies like this and stranger than fiction bring out will ferrell at his most sympathetic and likable and this is coming from a guy who absolutely hated ferrell during his snl days and those horrible cheerleader skits. can't wait to see.

        Will Farrell in an adaptation of a Raymond Carver story just rubs me the wrong way. What next...Jack Black as Bukowski?

            I loved the script too. Saw Steve Carrell or George Clooney in the role but oh well.

              I read the script a long time ago and I really liked it except for the ending but the trailer looks good and I'll definitely pay to see it.....

                The script was amazing, and thankfully, it looks like Ferrell is not trying to be funny in this, which is, I believe, the *only* way this story could work on screen.

                  I agree. Though Rebecca Hall as the neighbor is a little more, I dunno, glamorous than I pictured in my mind. She's a little too Upper East Side, if you know what I mean.

                  Still, this looks promising. The writer is directing it himself, too.

                    Were it not for all the hype surrounding the screenplay when it was unsold (congratulations to that bloke, by the way), I'd say that nothing struck me.

                    I'm not a drama fan, but I'll likely catch it on a free viewing some time.
