  • I saw The Next Three Days

Paul Haggis blows me away with his writing. Not sure how many people I can say that about. Not many, if at all. This guy conducts story like an orchestra or something.
It's the eye of the Tiger, it's the thrill of the fight

Not to take anything say from him, but it was a fairly good copy of the French (Pour Elle) original.

T'was a pretty sweet movie, pacing was kind of slow, but it wasn't bad. Haggis is great with structure, and an overall great writer. Just wish he'd make movies more often.

it was good but i must say... those 3 days were 3 years and they seemed like it took 3 hours to tell the story.

I liked it. The cops were a bit too clever, IMO. Especially considering how much effort was put into exploring the believably cool human errors Brennan makes.

Also, considering how clever the cops were... it kinda makes you wonder how come they weren't so clever when investigating the murder itself.

But overall I really enjoyed it.
