  • 2 Days in New York

The third chapter of her "2 Days" saga, Julie Delpy stars with Chris Rock as they play a married Manhattan couple whose lives are disrupted by visiting relatives. So Woody-esque.

Third chapter? What's the first/second then? I know only Paris.

Anyway, just got back from the cinema. Very funny and enjoyable. But something caught my attention.

Almost everything important happens off screen and is just relayed in dialog. It got really weird at times, like the ending to the argument with Vincent Gallo, the final misdeed of the French guy, etc.

Do you think it's a mistake or a conscious effect? If so, to what aim?
