Sinister was a good movie, had a boring ending though.
Worth the watch, especially in the cinema (great atmosphere).

The script's written by C. Robert Cargill aka Masswyrm from Ain't It Cool News...Harry Knowles reviewed the film and tried to be positive but isn't a big fan of it.

Wow. SINISTER is one wretched affair. It really, really wants to be a suburban version of THE SHINING, but has no idea how to go about it other than lifting a few obvious aspects and have Ethan Hawk paraphrase Jack Torrence. And instead of Danny doing that stupid finger thing, here we have a bunch of kids trying to look creepy by doing a SHHH gesture. Just looks silly.
It's also boring, derivative and kind of ludicrous. I think they had a haunted house trope list that they were working through. Shot well, though.Leave a comment:
