  • The Image Revolution - Documentary about the Comic Book Factory

From director Patrick Meaney, this documentary focuses on the creator-owned-based comic book factory, along with the seven founders, that gave Marvel and DC a run for their money.

Could anyone imagine those two companies putting out "The Walking Dead"?

DC's Vertigo line with Preacher, Y the Last Man, DMZ, The Filfth and Sandman...yeah, I could see them doing "The Walking Dead." But I've fallen off of comics lately and can't think of a single title, other than TWD that I really like these days...not even Morning Glories.

But would DC allow Rob Kirkman to own his creation while publishing it? That's the point of Image Comics.

Have you checked out Jason Aaron's SCALPED? It's a gangster saga set on a Native American reservation - a world and character the like you've never seen before. Buy the first TPB and I guarantee you'll be hooked.
