I thought it was really good.

If anyone likes this trailer, they'd probably like the movie. It's a good representation of what you'll be watching.

Going to see it tonight. Heard good things so I am looking forward to it.

Never saw the one with Babs and Kristofferson nor did I see the original 1937 version so I don't have anything to compare this new one to.

There was also a Judy Garland 1954 musical version that I didn't even know about until recently.

Best movie I've seen all year. Cooper is unreal.

I did not like this movie, found it very melodramatic, but I do agree Cooper was the best thing about it.

I enjoyed it... then again I love musicals. I thought Lady Gaga was astonishing. What a debut! There was too much of Bradley Cooper IMO but that's the prerogative of the director, I suppose. On to Bohemian Rhapsody!

I thought Cooper was the best part of it.

He wasn't afraid to make his character look bad -- the frosting in her face, the drunk accusatory confrontation with her while she was taking a bath -- I could see other actors softening those scenes, out of a personal need to be liked.

I like anything that shows a commitment to character, so I liked it all.

                  i loved it.

what i liked about what BC did was by the title you think you're following Gaga's journey, when you're really following his. his demise. his self-destruction.

and the contradiction between her rise and his fall is so poingant.

                  amazing film.
