  • The Class (CBS)

I could only stand the first ten minutes, and even that was painful. Is it possible to cancel a show after one episode?

Is it as bad as How I Met Your Mother? Worse?

I didn't think it was all that bad. Time will tell. But How I Met Your Mother could use more laughs. I don't know what it is, but either the laugh track is toned down on this show, or this is actually the amount of laughs is gets.

        Sitcoms suck.

There's nothing inherently sucky about the situation comedy in general. Most of them suck today, but that's been true throughout TV history. And for every ten or 20 crappy sitcoms, we get a Fawlty Towers or Seinfeld. Or Arrested Development or Scrubs. Or The Dick Van Dyke Show or WKRP or M*A*S*H. Or the Simpsons (don't forget that it used to be great).

            The Class was awful.

How I Met Your Mother is the best show on television.

            'Nuff said.

I thought it got a lot better once it got through the first ten minutes of set up. But it's not How I Met Your Mother.

In-ter-est-ing. Maybe I turned it off too early...

There were only two interesting things that happened later in the episode.
                    1) A character was run over by car. This did not happen to enough of the characters.

                    2) The show ended. And How I Met Your Mother started.
