  • Which Comic Book Characters are the Heroes?

Saw this conversation started on the Heroes thread and thought I would submit the below link for further discussion:

    http://tv.ign.com/articles/742/742303p1.html

The above is IGN's take on who the Heroes characters are in relation to comic book characters.

Matt (the cop) is Charles Xavier
    Claire is Wolverine
    Niki is the Hulk
    Isaac is Destiny
    Hiro is Nightcrawler, Sway, Chronos
    Peter is Rogue
    Nathan is Superman

What superhero has all those powers?

Peter's going to be that guy at some point in the series, when they all get together and he absorbs everybody's powers. If only for one brief, key moment.

    That'll be cool.

And maybe Micah will be Franklin Richards. The little son of a super mom and dad, who's dangerously powerful and can't control it (not even as well as the adults, I mean ).

well, at least none of the heroes have the same personalities as their comic book counterparts.

for example, hiro might actually by more like dr. manhattan (ability to manipulate space/time) but he's not rational and machiavellian like him.

i dont think nathan is superman at all. we'll see if he's invulnerable, but i think he's just some guy who can fly (which is pretty generic as far as superpowers goes).

anyways, here's hoping we meet an ozymandias or a batman here.
