I'll be shocked if it goes past six episodes. Anderson and Hauser lack chemistry. Story wasn't that interesting and I didn't buy the reveal at the end. Any thoughts?

Re: K-Ville
I disagree with one point. It's nice to see Anthony Anderson in a serious role for a change, and I think the chemistry between he and Hauser is spot on (even if unintentional from a production standpoint) for a new partnership with men who don't know each other.
But I do agree with you concerning the reveal. It was fairly bogus

Re: K-Ville
I knew the show was in trouble when I saw that blonde woman on stage; you know, the hot Midwestern girl who was supposed to represent old New Orleans. That and the cleverer-than-thou dialogue about cyprus trees in the beginning.
I stopped watching 15 minutes in. It's hard to watch something like this after seeing all the stuff that Showtime and HBO are putting out. I think we expect so much more from television now, and the networks just aren't keeping up.Last edited by dgl; 09-18-2007, 05:19 PM.

Re: K-Ville
This was hideous! I don't understand how it happened. It was originally being sold as "THE WIRE set in New Orleans, but for network". This was... Scooby Doo, complete with evil development schemes, meets some terrible 80s cop show.
I like the actors, and the cinematography is very good. Otherwise, terrible. I hope they can turn it around over the next episodes. I'd like New Orleans to keep the production and the money and jobs it brings, but otherwise...
