  • Controversial Curb (WITH SPOILERS)

Okay, nobody mentioned this past week's Curb, so I will. First of all, I thought it was a great, laugh out loud episode. I don't know where he came up with the mom talking about her nine year old daughter's ***** (with rash), but it was hilarious to see Larry take it from there. The Michael Richard's stuff was also very funny. I saw some blogs the day after the show where people were upset about Michael Richards even being in the episode, much less spoofing his racial outburst from two or three years ago (at the comedy club). I was surprised that the ***** stuff didn't get any mention as politically incorrect.

Yeah, best curb of the season (though black swan was pretty good). when Richards was first on Curb I wondered if they would talk about his outburst...my wife said no way, but I thought Larry David would do it. great episode.
If Lindsey Lohan has a child, and that child will lead...I will follow.

This episode is hands-down in the Top 5 greatest ones ever. Absolutely hysterical.

I didn't get into this show until this season. Is the whole series as amazing as it is currently?

I thought season five was wildly uneven (and generally not very funny), but the other seasons are solid. Not every episode is a winner, but there are always one or two great laugh-out-loud moments. A bad CURB is still better than a majority of the so-called comedies on TV.

If you like what you've seen thus far, I think it's safe to say you'll like the series as a whole.

I got the feeling that LD went out of his way to try and make this episode more potentially offensive than normal because he knew there would be viewers that were tuning in for the first time just because of the Seinfeld cast re-union.

I should add that it's great that they're giving J.B. Smoove more time. That guy cracks me up. His scenes with Larry are classic.
