  • BBC's Robin Hood

I just started watching this. Any thoughts on it?
Joan: What does the "T" stand for?
    Jack: Trustworthy.

    Re: BBC's Robin Hood

The guy playing Robin Hood wasn't in DANCES WITH WOLVES so that's a good start...

I grew up in England and the BBC has tackled Robin Hood a few times on TV. It's kind of like the Disney-cyclical-formula... re-make it every decade for a new generation as it's a fable that'll always possess appeal.

    Man, I miss UK television.

I may be finished with this one after episode 4 where Robin Hood is holding a baby while swordfighting and he tosses the baby to the soldier to distract him so he can gain the upper hand.

            That was just...stupid...

Why would the soldier care about the baby?

Don't knock that move. It works like a charm. I always take several babies into battle.
