I don't know about scripts but...

Brian DePalma's CARRIE uses it quite effectively, and Mike Figgis made a whole movie splitting the screen into quadrants with the ensemble piece TIMECODE.

It's also used cleverly in one sequence of JACKIE BROWN.

Coincidentally, I'm watching NARC right now. And it has a split screen done very effectively.

I thought the one in SIDEWAYS hit the right note at the right time as well.

CARRIE'S SS was awesome IMO.

Boogie Nights. Dirk Diggler goes from a nobody to a porn sensation thru a short but effective split screen sequence. Music...dance....f**king. It's a sensational sequence.

I don't know how much use you can make of a TV script, but there's an episode of COUPLING called "Split" that's got crazy good use of split screen. Crazy good.

thanks for all the suggestions gang, now if anyone has any of those scripts I'd love to read them (I have When Harry Met Sally, Jackie Brown) to see how they formatted it -- curious to compare styles
