      Re: Good luck, Geoff

Thanks ya'll - cross your fingers for me!!!!

By the way, in case there's any doubt that I'm the luckiest SOB in the world, my agent came to me with this book a while back and was like, "You want to think about adapting this? Diablo and Mason Novick are producing." And the book is effing awesome.

I don't know how much more "Fortune Falls Right Into Your Lap" you can get than that, but GD it, I'm psyched.

Very cool! I just saw this hit trackingB today. I had no idea it was a fellow DD'er. Congrats! Now I have to go yell at my manager for trying to tell me Zombie genre was flat.

                        Congratulations Geoff! What a coup!

As one of the few Juno fans here, I'd be totally psyched about working with Diablo.

Have fun, and if you can, we'd love to hear about the experience as things happen.

Oh, man. Well done! Congratulations! And the premise sounds really fun.

                          All the best!

So how's this work? Are you writing this on spec...or are they paying you upfront? Without a studio behind them, I wouldn't think they've got much cash or would invest too much of their money into the project. I'm curious how this plays out or pays out.
