Empire Magazine had an article about it a few months ago. Sounded incredibly zany, but apparently, according to the article, both Scott and Crowe liked the script?

I haven't actually seen The Proposition yet. I have had it sitting on the shelf for quite a while, though. I really should watch it.

If this is the same version of the script I'm thinking of, it's YEARS old. And quite dead at this juncture, I believe.

It does sound pretty whacky. But might check it out.

If Rome wept for Maximus, why did they dump his body in the wilderness instead of giving him a proper burial?

I've had this script for well over a year..

It's not badly written in fact it's pretty good but it's zany, off the chart and plain daft! And that's saying something.

Nick Cave is pretty smart but this script is crap!
