LAW ABIDING CITIZEN by Kurt Wimmer and Frank Darabont

which brings together two of the best writers in the biz. The movie was really cool too!

I saw this movie last night and was gob smacked with the plot, action and reversals.. Disturbing but exciting at the same time..

And yes, the movie is really cool like you say.. Great stuff... Kurt Wimmer knows his stuff alright...

I really liked A COUPLE OF DICKS. Very funny. Hope the movie does it justice.

RE Voices: Agreed. Wonderful, fresh, very disturbing script. I'd love to see someone like Mark Romanek get his hands on this. The script reminded me of a darker, bat-sh!t crazy, off-shoot of The Beaver.

Romanek would be the perfect choice--ONE HOUR PHOTO had a very similar vibe. Creepy and funny in the same breath. For some odd reason, and I'm not sure why...I kept seeing Ryan Reynolds in the lead. Not to say I don't like the guy--good actor--but I can't for the life of me understand why I saw him in the role.
