  • Best Comedy script you've read lately?

what are some great scripts I should be looking forward to?

Most recent one I read was "Road to Nardo" which was pretty funny. I'd recommend it.

Last one I read was Bridesmaids but I guess that's pretty old if you have access.

My favorite not-yet-released comedy scripts are My Mother's Curse and Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.

Also, everybody please remember DD is not a script trading site.

I'm not asking for scripts, im asking for a guage on what movies will be coming down the pike.

And I know where threads like this generally end up. I wanted to remind everyone not to request scripts now so that we don't have to start deleting posts later.

It's a bit old, from May of 2006, but I recently read The Grackle (Mark Arnold & Chris Poole) and found it to be pee-your-pants funny.

              Grackle is funny.

We are mere weeks away from dropping the best of the best. After this one we expect to be so busy that we won't have time to spec ever again, so please, all of you people who admire us, don't be asking us "what's next?" We really don't have time for your questions. Sorry. That's just the way it is--or is gonna be after this next one.

                Ho. Ly. ****.

Will this be kept under wraps, or are you going to go Balls Out on it? There are fans here who would love that.

This one is a more traditional script. It'll go out. I gotta talk to mongo and the reps about posting it online. I can't see how it would hurt once we've blanketed the town and been passed on by everyone.

Really wouldn't mind doing it concurrently.

                        ^^

speaking of which - any developments since the Balls Out option? If that thing gets made, it'll be cult film material right away.

It comes to life and dies once every couple of months. It'd been dead for the last couple of months, it's back alive again.
